Terms & Conditions - the Landlord's
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to landlords ("you" or "landlord") who use the Crib platform to list and rent out hostels and PGs ("properties"). By listing your property on Crib, you agree to comply with these Terms.
*1. Registration and Account*
1.1 *Account Creation:* To list properties on Crib, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information.
1.2 *Account Responsibility:* You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
1.3 *Account Verification:* Crib may request additional information or documentation to verify your identity and property ownership before or after your account is activated.
*2. Property Listings*
2.1 *Accuracy of Listings:* You must provide truthful, accurate, and complete information about your property, including but not limited to its location, amenities, pricing, and availability.
2.2 *Compliance with Laws:* You are solely responsible for ensuring that your listing and rental activities comply with all applicable local, state, and national laws, including zoning laws, rental regulations, and safety standards.
2.3 *Listing Approval:* Crib reserves the right to review and approve all property listings before they go live on the platform. Crib may refuse to publish or remove any listing that violates these Terms or is deemed inappropriate.
*3. Pricing and Payments*
3.1 *Setting Prices:* As a landlord, you have the right to set your rental prices. However, you agree to honor the price set at the time a booking is made.
3.2 *Payment Processing:* Crib facilitates payment processing between you and the customer. Payments will be disbursed to you according to Crib’s payment schedule, minus any applicable service fees.
3.3 *Service Fees:* Crib may charge a service fee for listing your property on the platform. The amount and terms of this fee will be communicated to you at the time of listing.
*4. Booking and Cancellations*
4.1 *Booking Confirmation:* Once a customer makes a booking, you will receive a notification and must confirm or reject the booking within [specific time frame]. Failure to respond may result in automatic cancellation.
4.2 *Cancellations by Landlord:* If you need to cancel a confirmed booking, you must notify the customer and Crib immediately. Repeated cancellations may result in penalties or removal from the platform.
4.3 *Cancellation Policy:* You must establish a clear cancellation policy, which will be communicated to customers at the time of booking.
*5. Property Maintenance and Safety*
5.1 *Property Condition:* You are responsible for ensuring that the property is in good, safe, and habitable condition before and during the rental period.
5.2 *Compliance with Safety Standards:* You must comply with all safety regulations, including fire codes, health and safety standards, and any other applicable laws.
5.3 *Access for Repairs:* You agree to provide reasonable notice to the customer before entering the property for repairs or maintenance during the rental period, except in emergencies.
*6. Disputes and Liability*
6.1 *Dispute Resolution:* Any disputes between you and a customer regarding a booking or property should be resolved directly between the parties. Crib may assist in facilitating communication but is not responsible for resolving disputes.
6.2 *Indemnification:* You agree to indemnify and hold Crib, its affiliates, and employees harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the platform, including any claims related to your property listings or rental activities.
6.3 *Limitation of Liability:* Crib is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or from any rental agreements facilitated through Crib.
*7. Termination*
7.1 *Termination by Crib:* Crib reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, and without prior notice.
7.2 *Termination by Landlord:* You may terminate your account at any time by providing written notice to Crib. However, any ongoing bookings must be honored, and any outstanding payments must be settled.
*8. Modifications to Terms*
8.1 *Changes to Terms:* Crib reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the website. Your continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

1.1 *Account Creation:* To book accommodations on Crib, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information.
1.2 *Account Responsibility:* You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
1.3 *Eligibility:* You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and make bookings on Crib.
*2. Booking Process*
2.1 *Making a Booking:* You can search for and book accommodations through the Crib platform. Once you find a property, you can make a booking by following the process outlined on the website.
2.2 *Booking Confirmation:* Your booking is confirmed only when you receive a confirmation email from Crib. If you do not receive a confirmation, your booking may not have been completed.
2.3 *Payment:* You must make full payment at the time of booking unless otherwise specified. All payments are securely processed via the payment methods provided by Crib.
*3. Pricing and Availability*
3.1 *Pricing:* Prices for accommodations are set by the landlords and are subject to change. The price you see at the time of booking is the price you agree to pay.
3.2 *Availability:* All bookings are subject to availability. If an accommodation becomes unavailable after you have made a booking, Crib will notify you and provide alternative options or a refund.
*4. Cancellations and Refunds*
4.1 *Customer Cancellations:* You may cancel your booking according to the cancellation policy set by the landlord. Please review the specific cancellation terms at the time of booking.
4.2 *Landlord Cancellations:* If a landlord cancels your booking, Crib will notify you and provide alternative accommodations or a refund.
4.3 *Refunds:* Refunds, if applicable, will be processed according to the landlord's cancellation policy and may take up to [number of days] business days to be processed. Crib is not responsible for any fees or charges imposed by your bank or payment provider.
